Traveling with Baby

Have you taken your baby on any trips or vacations yet? Planning to travel with little ones can feel stressful — there’s suddenly so much more to pack when you plan to be away from home, and how do you keep your baby’s routine somewhat consistent so their feeding and sleeping rhythms aren’t disrupted too much? However, babies at this age are still very portable and tend to do well sleeping on the go. When traveling, make sure you have a safe sleeping space for your baby like a portable bassinet or crib that follows safe sleep guidelines. If you’re flying, allowing your baby to suck on a pacifier or feed during take off and landing can help to decrease their ear pressure. Another great option is to use a baby carrier or wrap during travel so you can hold your baby and have your hands free.
