Tummy time

You may start seeing more regular periods of awake time during the day with your little one. Daytime activities such as tummy time on a play mat will not only help to strengthen your baby’s muscles, but it also helps to tire them out. Regular periods of activity help to stimulate your baby’s brain, and also help ensure good sleep after a play session. Sleep is also how your baby’s brain stores memories and learns new skills. A nap after a play session helps your baby master those skills.
